Maria Carratola, MD, specializes in pediatric otolaryngology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Carratola received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Ohio State University and Wright State University, respectively. Following this she completed her residency in otolaryngology at Tulane University in New Orleans. She completed her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center. Dr. Carratola is board-certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery in both comprehensive otolaryngology and complex pediatric otolaryngology. She has been on staff at Ochsner since July 2021, and practicing medicine since July 2014. Dr. Carratola's expertise is in pediatric airway reconstruction and aerodigestive problems, although she enjoys seeing children for all aspects of their ENT care, including pediatric sleep apnea, sinus disease, neck masses and ear and hearing pathology.
