Dr. Caitlyn Ranger has stayed close to home throughout her training. She was born in New Orleans, and attended high school at Dominican. Dr. Ranger went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then completed her residency training at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, where she served as the Administrative Chief Resident during her last year of training. She was also recognized for her excellence in laparoscopic surgery and in female pelvic medicine/reconstructive surgery. Dr. Ranger has received multiple awards for outstanding research within her field. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. Her special interests include general obstetrics and gynecology as well as preventative medicine. Dr. Ranger hopes to serve the people of her home town as a patient advocate and partner. What drives her as an OB-GYN is the unique ability to share in a woman's life through various stages, ages and life events.
